Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years customer service or medical office experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer data-entry/typing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and coordinate scheduling.
• Respond to questions and concerns and escalate as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Capture and verify patient demographics accurately.
• Schedule patients through NMHC systems with a patient-friendly approach.
• Perform medical necessity checks and discuss options with patients.
• Assist with insurance verification and financial discussions.
• Conduct data entry and ensure accurate notes in Epic.
