Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a patient-centered scheduling coordinator to independently create and schedule appointments within the electronic medical record. You will gather patient demographics and provider information, and advise on copays, referrals, and pre-service deposits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently create and schedule appointments within the electronic medical record.
• Gather patient-specific demographics and provider information; advise patients regarding copayments, referrals, and pre-service deposits.
• Respond to patients, customers, referring physicians, Allied Health staff and family members.
• Provide exceptional service and navigate multiple systems to assist patients and healthcare professionals.
• Manage complex scheduling workflows across calls, online requests, and fax requests.
• Promote patient safety and quality; reinforce teamwork and patient/guest experiences.
