Atlantic Health is hiring a Scheduler I for the Morristown, NJ area. The role involves handling a high volume of patient and provider inquiries to schedule diagnostic imaging, manage referrals, and answer general department questions across Atlantic Health locations.

Proficiency in EPIC, strong customer service, and accurate data entry are essential. Responsibilities include appointment scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorization, and ensuring accurate patient registration.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a call center or radiology setting is a plus.
• EMR experience, preferably EPIC, is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume scheduling and inquiries for imaging services.
• Verify insurance, pre-authorization, and collect demographic data.
• Transcribe referrals/orders into the EMR accurately and timely.
• Communicate appointment status and help with rescheduling as needed.
