Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Scheduler I for their AMG Primary Care Central Scheduling team. This full-time daytime role handles a large call volume, schedules appointments across practices, verifies insurance, and collects patient registration data in Epic.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm. A high school diploma and 1–3 years in a medical front desk or contact center setting are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: 1-3 years in a contact center or front-facing medical office.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls to schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect accurate registration data.
• Use Epic Work queues to manage upcoming visits and updates.
• Coordinate referrals and inform patients of appointment status.
• Promote patient portal usage and assist with check-in processes.
