Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Scheduler I to join the AMG Call Center in Morristown, NJ. The role entails accurate scheduling, insurance verification, and collecting patient registration data to support a high-volume call center environment.

The incumbent will manage inbound/outbound scheduling, coordinate with practices, and ensure timely communication about appointments and policy details. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computerized scheduling and EMR systems a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in contact center or front-facing medical office space is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer and employee focus with ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, SMS, patient registrations and scheduling for Atlantic Medical Group practices.
• Complete patient registration and collect demographic/insurance information.
• Coordinate with physicians and patients to obtain missing information and status updates.
• Perform real-time insurance verification and explain financial responsibilities.
• Encourage patient portal usage and assist with scheduling changes.
