Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ is hiring for a full-time AMG Specialty Call Center Scheduler. You will schedule for Atlantic Medical Group practices, verify insurances, and ensure accurate patient registration data in a fast-paced call center.

Responsibilities include handling inbound calls, updating Epic Work queues, promoting the patient portal, and coordinating with physicians to obtain missing information. Monday–Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of computerized scheduling & EMR system a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in contact center or front-facing medical office (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer- and employee-focused with ability to multitask.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Handle scheduling for Atlantic Medical Group practices in a high-volume environment.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect patient registration data.
• Register patients and update Epic Work queues.
• Promote patient portal usage and coordinate with registration resources.
• Communicate financial responsibility and time-of-service policies to patients.
• Maintain patient accounts and meet productivity and quality targets.
• Escalate issues to supervisor and participate in trainings.
