Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator I to manage day-to-day call center activities and ensure a high-quality customer service experience for all callers. You will greet patients, answer questions, relay messages, and help schedule appointments and procedures with attention to provider protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in customer service, and basic MS Office skills; Epic EHR familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer service role.
• Healthcare office experience is a plus.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume calls via switchboard.
• Greet callers professionally and provide information.
• Assist patients and families with questions and scheduling.
• Update insurance and demographic information.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and procedures.
• Escalate issues to supervisor as needed.
