Illinois Bone and Joint Institute (IBJI) is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator I to manage the call center and deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families. The role focuses on scheduling, information provision, and insurance data updates in a fast-paced, medical-office setting.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in customer service, familiarity with Epic EHR, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a customer service role (medical office experience a plus).
• EHR experience with Epic preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Answer high volume of calls and route as needed.
• Greet callers professionally and provide accurate information.
• Assist patients and families, schedule appointments and update insurance data.
• Maintain knowledge of physicians, locations and services to answer questions.
