Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with some independent decision-making.
• Familiar with EHR software and strong data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and explains the registration process.
• Processes payments and safeguards cash and receipts.
• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels appointments per protocol.
• Verifies insurance and guarantor information and informs patients of financial responsibilities.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and a clean, secure registration area.
