Responsibilities

• Answer, scheduling and pre-registration documentation for inquiries and follow-ups by telephone, internet, or written correspondence.
• Educate patients and providers regarding insurance, provider, department/location, payment options and availability of Carle services.
• Obtain, update and verify patient demographics, insurance, emergency contacts, co-pays, and primary physicians in the HIS system.
• Answer calls, transcribe and deliver messages to physicians, nurses and others; report medical information accurately and timely.
• Distribute messages according to practice communication standards.
