Job summary

You will educate patients about insurance, payment options, and Carle services, verify demographics and insurance details, handle messages, and ensure timely communication among patients, providers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls and schedules appointments, and completes pre-registration documentation.
• Educates patients and providers about insurance, providers, locations, payment options, and Carle services.
• Obtains and verifies patient demographics, insurance, and contacts within the HIS system.
• Answers calls, transcribes and forwards messages to clinicians and staff.
• Documents medical information from patients and referring physicians promptly.
• Distributes messages according to communication standards.
