Vail Health Hospital in Colorado is hiring a Clinic Scheduler to handle scheduling inquiries, coordinate appointments, and manage messages through the EHR system. The role requires accurate patient information gathering and HIPAA compliance while delivering professional service over the phone and portals.

The Scheduler will work with providers, locations, and payers to ensure smooth scheduling workflows. Prior medical office experience is preferred and competitive benefits apply.

Qualificações

• 2 years administrative or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules medical appointments through coordination of patients, providers and locations.
• Receives and initiates calls to and from patients and providers per procedures.
• Schedules appointments, tests and procedures using the EHR system.
• Answers incoming calls professionally and schedules patient appointments.
• Obtains patient demographics including address, phone and insurance information.
• Manages electronic requests via drop box and patient portals.
• Distributes faxes and supports requested processes.
• Models Just Culture and Organizational Values; HIPAA compliant.
