UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Access Scheduling Agent to serve as the front door for patients, scheduling appointments across multiple clinics and campuses. You will gather demographics, insurance and liability information to facilitate the financial aspects of care while coordinating medical records as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, intrapersonal skills and attention to detail, with a standard 40-hour workweek.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• English speaking, reading and writing skills required.
• Strong intrapersonal and communication skills required.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in business or healthcare.

Responsabilidades

• Handle incoming calls to schedule patient appointments across multiple clinics.
• Make outbound calls to schedule appointments with specialists.
• Collect patient demographics, insurance information and account details.
• Coordinate medical records from outside health care organizations as needed.
• Schedule in-office procedures and coordinate room availability.
