UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Access Scheduling Agent to serve as the front door for patients, coordinating appointments and ensuring timely access to care across multiple clinics. The role emphasizes excellent patient service and accurate data collection.

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• English speaking, reading and writing skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior scheduling or health care scheduling experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Handle incoming patient calls to schedule appointments across multiple clinics/departments and campuses.
• Make outbound calls to schedule appointments with specialists and subspecialists.
• Gather information needed for the financial aspects of care (demographics, insurance, guarantor) and process updates to insurance/demographics.
• Secure medical records from outside providers as needed for appointments.
• Schedule in-office procedures and arrange the appropriate room and timing.
