Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Book appointments for services at SSH by phone or fax.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patients in the computer system.
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-authorizations as necessary.
• Enter insurance information into Meditech accurately.
• Verify patient identity using three sources of identification.
• Utilize department computer programs and reports.
• Provide training to team as needed.
• Maintain accurate messaging with caller details (name, number, DOB, PCP).
• Respond effectively to phone system and paging protocols.
