Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in Patient Registration, Billing dept., Scheduling dept., or MD offices.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Telephone experience required.
• Strong Computer Skills
• Customer Service experience required.
• Insurance Third party requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Books appointments for services by telephone or fax and reschedules as needed.
• Pre registers all patients for scheduled appointments.
• Verify benefits and complete pre-certifications and eligibility checks.
• Interact with provider offices and insurers for authorization processes.
• Maintain 98% accuracy in demographic verification and data entry.
