Responsibilities also include verifying medical necessity and patient insurance while upholding high customer service standards, working effectively as part of a team to deliver patient-focused scheduling across outpatient tests and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
• Pre-cert experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answer telephone calls and schedule patients within Department guidelines.
• Enter demographic and insurance information, Pre-Cert info when applicable.
• Check medical necessity and patient insurance; maintain high standards of customer service.
