Qualifications

• Medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English reading/writing and effective communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a liaison between patient, facility, and physicians to schedule exams, tests, and procedures.
• Pre-registers patients in the EHR to obtain pre-certifications and verify insurance.
• Communicates location, directions, and pre-appointment instructions to patients.
• Enter demographic and insurance information into the EHR and determine medical necessity.
• Reschedules or cancels appointments and manages EHR work queues.
