Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Liaison (PAL) to support patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers in navigating insurance coverage and reimbursement pathways for Amgen therapies.

You will work with cross-functional teams to address prior authorizations, coding, billing, and patient support programs, ensuring timely access to treatment. Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree with 2+ years of patient services and/or access/reimbursement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of patient services and/or access/reimbursement experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient access and reimbursement support for infused and specialty therapies.
• Educate providers and sites of care on reimbursement pathways and prior authorization requirements.
• Investigate and escalate access challenges to ensure timely therapy access.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Case Managers, and Site of Care teams.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate activity documentation.
