Job summary

Amgen seeks a Patient Access Liaison (PAL) in Dallas, TX to navigate insurance coverage and reimbursement pathways for Amgen therapies. This field-based role supports patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, ensuring timely access to treatment and education on coverage and financial assistance.

Responsibilities include engaging with providers, explaining prior authorizations, and resolving access challenges while collaborating with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Site of Care teams.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s with patient services/access experience
• Experience with infused therapies and reimbursement pathways preferred
• HIPAA and regulatory compliance knowledge required

Responsibilities

• Serve as a field-based resource on patient access and reimbursement for infused and specialty therapies.
• Educate providers and sites of care on coverage pathways and prior authorization processes.
• Support patients and caregivers in navigating insurance benefits and financial assistance programs.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, and Case Management to address access barriers.
