Job summary

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute seeks a Rehabilitation Services Coordinator to welcome patients, manage check-in, verify demographics, and schedule future appointments, ensuring a smooth rehab start. You will support administrative workflows, maintain records, and assist clinicians with reimbursements and credentialing as needed.

As the first point of contact, you’ll help coordinate care across locations, use EMR/Epic, and provide compassionate, timely service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED; Customer service experience; 1+ years scheduling in healthcare; EPIC experience; 1+ years in-person customer service with patients.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments, procedures and tests; enter scheduling docs into the EMR.
• Register patients, verify insurance and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Provide department reception, check-in and phone coverage; route messages.
• Chart preparation: analyze records and obtain missing documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
