Job summary

UC San Diego Health's Koman Outpatient Pavilion seeks a Rehab Support Coordinator to assist PT/OT/SLP teams with administrative and clinical tasks. This hybrid role blends frontline patient access duties with rehabilitation aide responsibilities to ensure smooth scheduling, registration, and communication.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related experience in call center/front desk/patient access or high-volume customer service.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to multitask across systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the front end liaison for patient arrival, facilitating contactless check in.
• Provides high quality customer service and handles appointment requests.
• Performs accurate registration, insurance eligibility and authorizations per standards.
• Processes referrals and communicates information across platforms.
• Supports PT, OT, and SLP staff with selected patient care activities.
