Job summary

Allina Health Hastings Clinic is a part-time Clinic Business Representative Associate role in Hastings, MN. You will greet patients, manage registrations, collect demographic and insurance data, and provide telephone support to ensure a smooth start to care.

The position supports end-of-day reconciliation and maintains lobby readiness, with occasional scheduling and clerical tasks. The role requires 18+, basic computer skills, and preferred experience with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience to meet required competencies.
• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook) and customer service or clerical work preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in person or by phone and register them accurately.
• Collect demographic and insurance information and enter into the EMR.
• Assist patients with telephone encounters and answer questions about financial assistance programs.
• Handle end-of-day reconciliation and support lobby organization and supplies.
• May schedule appointments and assist with office communications as needed.
