Optum, in strategic partnership with Allina Health, is hiring a Part Time Patient Access Representative Associate in Hastings, MN. This role greets patients, collects demographic and insurance data, and registers them in the EMR.

Primary responsibilities include check-in, intake, scheduling support, and resolving registration issues. Pay ranges from $16 to $29 per hour based on experience, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualificações

• 6+ months of customer service experience in office/hospital setting.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30am - 4:00pm.
• Must be 18 years of age OR older.

Responsabilidades

• Greeting and welcoming patients in person.
• Collects demographic and insurance information and enters into EMR.
• Checks in and interviews patients to complete paperwork.
• Directs patient to appointment or procedure.
• May assist in scheduling add-on appointments.
• Document issues and resolutions in EMR.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits information for payers.
