UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registration Services professional to accurately collect patient demographics, insurance details, and appointments. You will verify coverage, handle payments, and coordinate services across departments within a high-volume hospital setting.

The role emphasizes precise data entry, customer service, and collaboration with clinical teams. A high school diploma is required, with healthcare-related education preferred.

Qualificações

• Proficient data-entry skills with accuracy and speed.
• Excellent customer service skills in person and over the phone.
• Able to navigate a computer-based patient registration/scheduling system.
• English literacy in speaking, reading and writing.
• Capable of working in a high-volume, team-oriented setting.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately obtain and enter demographic, insurance and related patient information into the registration system.
• Verify insurance coverage and pre-authorization as required.
• Schedule or coordinate radiology, lab and other appointments as needed.
• Collect patient liabilities and assist with payments at or before service.
• Perform admissions, discharges and bed control tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare paperwork and manage communications.
