Job summary

You will verify insurance coverage, secure pre-authorizations, and arrange appointments for radiology and labs, while collecting patient balances as applicable. Strong data-entry and customer-service skills are essential for efficient patient access and revenue-cycle operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enters demographic, insurance and related patient information into the registration/scheduling system.
• Verifies insurance coverage and ensures pre-auth or referrals are obtained.
• Schedules Radiology, Lab, and basic ancillary service appointments.
• Collects patient liabilities and balances prior to or on the day of service.
• Performs other duties to support patient access and revenue cycle workflows.
