Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to manage front-end clinic operations, including patient registration, demographics verification, and scheduling within the EHR system.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, experience with insurance verification, and knowledge of AHCCCS to assist uninsured patients in identifying funding options.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience with insurance verification or front desk in a medical office setting preferred.
• Must have knowledge of AHCCCS, insurance, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle front-end clinic operations and patient registration.
• Verify patient demographics and create/maintain electronic charts.
• Answer incoming calls and route or schedule appointments.
• Obtain and verify demographic and insurance information, including AHCCCS screening when needed.
• Identify funding sources for uninsured patients and refer for AHCCCS enrollment.
