Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. seeks a Patient Services Specialist to manage front-end operations in our clinics across Arizona. You will handle patient registration, verify demographics, and maintain electronic charts using the EHR/EPM system.

You will verify insurance, identify amounts due, and assist uninsured patients with funding sources and AHCCCS screening referrals, coordinating with the clinical team on follow-up scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience with insurance verification or front desk in a medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of AHCCCS, insurance, and strong customer service skills.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle front-end operations including patient registration and demographic verification.
• Schedule intake appointments and manage scheduling in the CBI EHR/EPM system.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information; perform insurance verifications.
• Identify uninsured patients' potential funding sources and refer AHCCCS screenings.
• Notify clinical team when registration is complete and schedule follow-up appointments.
