Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare provider in Arizona seeking a Patient Services Specialist to manage front-end operations for the designated clinic.

You will register patients, verify demographics, and maintain electronic charts while coordinating scheduling in the EHR/EPM system. Excellent communication and customer service are essential as you interact with patients, families, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred in Business or Healthcare.
• 1–3 years of insurance verification/front desk experience preferred but not required.
• Must have knowledge of AHCCCS, insurance, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics.
• Create and maintain patient EHR/EPM scheduling entries.
• Answer clinic calls and route inquiries; schedule intake appointments.
• Obtain demographic and insurance information; verify insurance and determine patient amounts due.
• Identify funding sources for uninsured patients and refer AHCCCS screening/enrollment.
