AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a patient access / registration professional for full-time daytime weekend shifts. You will register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and assist with policy explanations and authorizations to ensure accurate patient records.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, multi-tasking, and supporting a positive patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred for Kids Urgent Care Centers.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file medical records per patient type.
• Register patients and verify demographics and insurance.
• Explain insurance coverage and obtain authorization as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and improve patient experience.
