Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a patient access specialist to register patients, verify insurance, and collect upfront payments. The role supports several clinics with evening/weekend shifts and mileage assistance.

Strong communication, EMR experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred. High school diploma required; CPR and pediatric experience are a plus. This on-site position is located in Orlando, FL with full-time hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and determine upfront collection amount.
• Answer calls, respond to patient questions, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support clinics with evening and weekend shifts; mileage support provided.
• Demonstrate core values and drive a positive patient experience.
