Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a part-time patient access associate to support clinics across Palm Coast and nearby areas. You will handle registration, verify insurance, collect upfront payments, and coordinate with care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and empathy, with mileage support for travel among clinics. CPR certification preferred and experience with EMR systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School grad or equivalent is required.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Prior pediatric experience is preferred for Kids Urgent Care Centers.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of EMR systems is expected.
• General knowledge of medical terminology and billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographic, employment, insurance information.
• Obtain authorization and coordinate services requested.
• Verify insurance eligibility and determine upfront collection amounts.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and families.
