Allina Health East Lake Street Clinic is seeking a Clinic Business Representative Associate for a full-time day shift in Minneapolis. You will welcome patients, handle registrations, collect demographics and insurance details, verify coverage, and guide patients to their appointments or procedures.

You may schedule appointments, obtain authorizations when required, and assist with financial counseling while supporting a seamless patient flow and care experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate's or Vocational degree.
• 0 to 2 years of clerical or business environment experience.
• 0 to 2 years of medical terminology knowledge.
• 0 to 2 years of computer knowledge including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Aufgaben

• Greet and welcome patients in person or by phone.
• Perform registration process and collect demographic and insurance data.
• Check in or interview patient to complete paperwork.
• Direct patient to appointment or procedure.
• May schedule appointments.
• Verify eligibility and benefits information for payers.
• Obtain prior authorization before date of service when needed.
• Collect co-pay/deductibles and explain financial assistance options.
• Obtain signatures from patients as needed.
