Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
• 1 year of scheduling experience required for High Risk Perinatal
• Preferred background in medical office scheduling and registration within an automated environment

Responsibilities

• Schedule, verify, or reschedule appointments and collect scheduling information.
• Verify demographic and insurance information; update as needed.
• Greet and check in patients; collect copay and issue receipts.
• Maintain departmental records, reports and files.
• May update scheduling procedure manual.
