Allina Health Apple Valley Medical Center is seeking a Clinic Business Representative Associate to provide welcoming, efficient patient registration in person or by phone. You will collect demographic and insurance information, support check-in, and help with billing and scheduling while maintaining a clean, organized lobby.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, basic computer skills, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).
• Customer service, clerical, or other business office environment experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Greets, welcomes, and performs the registration process with patients in person or by phone.
• Interviews patients to collect demographic and insurance information and obtains necessary documentation.
• Assists patients with telephone encounters.
• Identifies keywords to initiate appropriate responses and de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Directs patients to appointments or procedures.
• Collects co-pays and/or remaining balances and obtains signatures as needed.
• Responds to questions regarding financial assistance programs.
• Performs end-of-day reconciliation.
• May participate in prescription refill order process within scope.
• Manages and organizes the patient care lobby; cleans and restocks supplies.
• May schedule appointments and handle calls/messages; participates in staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
