Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years in a related role; familiarity with computer systems.
• Skills: capable in fast-paced, multi-task environments with accurate data handling.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients presenting for visits and explains the process.
• Processes patient payments and reconciles cash drawer daily.
• Completes Medicare questionnaire and adjusts coverage as needed.
• Instructs patients on forms and secures signatures; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs, as applicable.
• Maintains a neat registration desk and protects confidential information.
• Supports scheduling by prioritizing calls and electronic requests.
• Ensures accurate patient data and insurance verification for visits.
