Nicklaushealth in Miami is seeking a Customer Service professional to greet patients and families, collect required information, and schedule or register services. You will obtain authorizations and referrals and collect payments as needed, while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires effective communication, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to handle data accurately in a healthcare setting, including on-call shifts as assigned.

Competenze

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Medical or healthcare office experience preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Accurate data entry and interpretation.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and families in person or by phone and schedule/register services.
• Obtain demographic, payer, financial, medical information and identification.
• Obtain authorization and referrals; collect payments as required.
• Verify third-party payer information and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Document activity in the patient accounts system.
• Confirm appointments and manage registrations; assist with on-call shifts as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA/ EMTALA regulations.
