Qualifications

• Accurate data entry and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in person or by phone and schedule/register services.
• Obtain demographic, payer, financial, medical information and identification.
• Obtain authorization and referrals; collect payments as required.
• Verify third-party payer information and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Document activity in the patient accounts system.
• Confirm appointments and manage registrations; assist with on-call shifts as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA/ EMTALA regulations.
