AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking a Guest Services Associate to support patient access. You will answer calls, assist with registrations, verify demographics and insurance, and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in health services administration or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of customer services in a medical office or similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming phone calls, responds to inquiries, and directs calls appropriately.
• Welcomes patients; updates, verifies, and enters patient demographics, insurance, and billing information and processes forms into appropriate systems.
• Registers patients for services, ensures accuracy, facilitates timely discharge, and maximizes reimbursement.
• Maintains a working relationship with clinical partners to ensure open communication between clinical, ancillary, and patient access departments.
• Provides education to patients regarding test locations and patient portal use.
