Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock seeks a Guest Services Specialist to support patient access, registration, and financial interactions. You will welcome patients, verify demographics, insurance, and payments, and help ensure timely check-in and discharge processes.

The role requires strong customer service and familiarity with medical office workflows. It includes collaboration with clinical partners to maintain a smooth patient experience in a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

Associate and/or higher education in health services administration or related field.
Preferred CHAA certification and hospital/medical office exposure.
Experience with patient registration, billing, and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate teams.
Register patients, verify demographics, insurance, and billing details.
Facilitate patient check-in/out and ensure accurate data entry for reimbursement.
Assist with post-care financial needs and provide patient education on portals.
Coordinate with clinical partners to ensure smooth patient access and flow.
Support guest services and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
