AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO seeks a Guest Services / Patient Access representative to welcome patients, verify data, and process registrations. You will coordinate with clinical partners, collect co-pays, and guide patients on portals and follow-ups in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong customer service, medical terminology familiarity, and the ability to handle billing and coding tasks with accuracy. The position offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher education in health services administration or related field (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of customer service in a medical office or similar with medical terminology, coding, charge entry and payment collection (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
• Welcome patients; verify demographics, insurance, and billing information; process forms.
• Register patients for services; ensure accuracy; facilitate timely discharge and maximize reimbursement.
• Explain co-pays and outstanding balances at check-in; support post-care financial needs.
• Coordinate with clinical partners to maintain open communication and patient flow.
• Provide education to patients regarding test locations, patient portal use, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain a safe work environment; provide coverage as assigned.
