You will collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient access and accurate financial processing.

The role emphasizes patient experience, accurate data entry, and timely coordination with care teams, with a focus on compliance and service excellence in a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Preferred CHAA certification.
• 1+ year of customer service in a medical office or similar setting with knowledge of medical terminology, coding, charge entry and payment collection.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming phone calls, responds to inquiries, and directs calls to appropriate teams.
• Welcomes patients; updates, verifies, and enters patient demographics, insurance, and billing information and processes forms into systems.
• Registers patients for services, ensures accuracy, facilitates timely discharge, and maximizes reimbursement.
• Clarifies financial assessments, eligibility, and benefits memos to support post-care financial needs.
• Maintains collaboration with clinical partners to ensure open communication between clinical, ancillary, and patient access departments.
