Qualifications

• 1–3 years customer service experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in person or by telephone.
• Obtain demographic, payer, financial, medical information and IDs to schedule/register patients.
• Obtain authorizations/referrals and collect payments as required.
• Verify third party payer information and obtain needed approvals.
• Document activities in the patient management system.
• Notify patients of balances and out-of-pocket costs.
• Schedule physician or hospital services and confirm appointments.
