Behavioral Health Group - BHG in Tennessee is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and guide them through the registration process with empathy and accuracy.

You’ll verify eligibility, collect copays, answer calls, and support front-desk operations while maintaining privacy and compliance across federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of office clerk experience with basic math, accounting skills, and cash handling.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in front desk, admissions, billing, and/or collections.

Responsibilities

• Register new and returning patients while verifying demographic, insurance, and identification information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and prior authorizations to help patients understand their coverage.
• Collect patient payments, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance, while accurately processing daily financial transactions.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and provide helpful, compassionate support.
• Build positive, professional relationships with patients while protecting their privacy and maintaining accountability.
