Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and verify patient demographics, insurance and guarantor information.
• Register patients, collect co-pays and explain financial responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and organization policies.
• Explain insurance coverage and assist with patient questions.
• Enter data accurately in EPIC and other systems.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support scheduling and patient flow.
• Assist patients with transportation, directions, interpreters, and other needs.
