Intuitive Health is seeking a Patient Access Advocate to greet patients, handle registrations, verify insurance, and process payments in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will guide patients through the check-in/out process, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service while upholding HIPAA policies.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a courteous, professional demeanor to ensure a welcoming experience for patients and families.

Qualificações

• Minimum typing speed 50 wpm.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate with staff and patients.
• Patient-focused with excellent customer service.
• Technical capacity to use EHR and office software.
• Proficient with MS Office tools.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and assist with in-person and phone inquiries.
• Check patients in and out; manage visit closures including payments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copayments/deductibles.
• Update demographic and registration information in the EHR.
• Maintain patient files and assist with clerical duties.
• Provide wayfinding and information to patients and visitors.
• Ensure front desk and waiting areas are clean and organized.
