Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) for our Concord, NC site. This part-time role focuses on creating initial patient records, registering patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and collecting co-pays.

You will work within a fast-paced environment to ensure accurate data entry and patient satisfaction. You will coordinate with financial counselors, explain coverage basics, and guide patients through the registration process while maintaining HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• Must have HIPAA compliance knowledge and strong customer service skills.
• Experience with insurance verification and eligibility tools is preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Create and verify patient records and registrations to support safe care and billing.
• Explain financial responsibilities to patients and refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Assist with scheduling, test prep guidance, and patient arrival logistics.
