St. Luke's University Health Network in Center Valley is seeking a Part-time Patient Access Representative for evenings (20 hours/week). The role covers patient registration, insurance verification, order transcription, demographics, and point-of-service collections.

You will collaborate with SLPG practices and departments to ensure accurate records, smooth patient flow, and a positive experience. Experience in healthcare administration and EPIC knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Certificate or degree in healthcare field preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• General computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly.
• Insurance background preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous medical administrative experience and/or health care related education courses preferred.
• Knowledge of health information system (EPIC) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Identify/validate patients in hospital information system to maintain EMR integrity.
• Cross-train in all areas of location or region.
• Greet patients and visitors, provide friendly service, enforce visitor policy as applicable.
• Handle patient registration (pre-reg/post-reg) including demographics, insurance, and verification.
• Coordinate with clinics and departments to ensure clean claims submission and payments.
• Promote MyChart portal and patient self-service capabilities.
