Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a part-time Patient Access Representative to handle full registration duties for outpatient and ED settings. You will identify patients, transcribe orders, verify insurance, and collect payments while coordinating with clinical and revenue-cycle teams.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong computer skills, and knowledge of medical terminology. Some travel between campuses may be necessary to support coverage across East Stroud

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• General computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly required.
• Insurance background preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous medical administrative experience and/or health care related education courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and register patients in hospital information system (pre-reg and post-reg).
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect point-of-service payments.
• Coordinate with clinical departments and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate registrations.
• Assist patients with Welcome Kiosk and MyChart portal usage.
• Travel between campuses as needed to cover locations.
