Job summary

St. Luke's Health Network, Inc. seeks a Patient Access Representative to manage the full registration process in outpatient and Emergency Department settings. You will identify patients, transcribe orders, verify demographics, insurance and provider information, and support cash collection at the point of service.

You will collaborate with SLPG practices and revenue cycle teams to ensure a smooth patient experience, accurate records, and timely claims. Travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required; health care related credential preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Typing fluently, accurately, and quickly; basic insurance knowledge helpful.
• Experience with health information systems (Epic) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately including demographics, insurance and provider information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect point-of-service cash.
• Transcribe orders and support pre-reg/post-reg needs.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure clean claim submission and payment.
• Cross-train across locations and promote MyChart patient portal usage.
