St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Part Time Patient Access Representative for evenings in Center Valley, PA.

You will handle the full spectrum of patient registration, verification of insurance, and point-of-service collections while delivering excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include greeting patients, transcribing orders, and guiding patients through MyChart and self-service tools.

Formación

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• General computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly.
• Insurance background preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous medical administrative experience and/or health care related education courses preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients in the hospital information system, including demographics, contact, diagnosis, and insurance verification.
• Transcribe orders and ensure real-time eligibility and accurate charting.
• Collect co-payments at point of service and manage related work queues.
• Greet and direct patients and visitors with friendly, courteous service.
• Promote MyChart and patient self-service to improve engagement in care.
• Assist with Welcome Kiosk and On My Way technology to streamline patient flow.
• Coordinate with practices and departments to obtain referrals and prior authorizations as needed.
